First ramrod tip I have seen dug. Great find.
Amazing find. I know this is an older post but somehow I missed it. Beautiful watch.
I just scrolled up and can see that I did comment when you first found it. So, you get two comments for a...
Great buckle. The iron ones don't seem to come up very often.
Awesome finds. That soil is very kind to iron and that is amazing. I have had almost the same experience with the cellar hole that we have been hunting off and on since the summer. Any button or...
Love those green Indians. Beautiful coins.
:hystericallaugh:Del has me hooked on Lift your Kilt Scottish Ale now. It's the only beer I want to drink. So darn good!

Really great job cleaning that coin. Looks fantastic.
Wow! I can't believe it! Thank you so much! I don't have a medieval coin in my collection and I have been very envious of your digs. :envious: Are you sure you read the name correctly after six...
Absolutely stunning finds. I hope that one day I can find a 1794 Liberty Cap; however, until then I will always remember the excitement of seeing one dug live. Thanks for letting me listen to it....
Really great news about your wife Drew. That is awesome.
I would love to find a dog tag from the 1800's. Those are very rare and highly sought after by dog tag collectors. Great find! :perfect10:
I want a transfer. Great finds.
Love that medallion. Never seen one like it before.
Love the token. That could have been a saloon. I would say late 1800's and no earlier than the early 1900's.
Great hunt!
Epic hunt. 1800's dog tags are rare. That's a great find.
I was thinking the same thing. I don't see how a lead counterfeit could have circulated unless it was plated. Maybe, it was intentionally cast to look very worn?

I was thinking the same thing after reading Roger's comment. That's the fourth one from this site (the other two were found by a friend) and somebody had been there before we got there.
Got out to Ye Olde Cellar Hole for a few hours Sunday morning. Got my second Municipal Police of New York City (1845 - 1857) button and it cleaned up very well. Also, got six coins including a...
Really awesome gesture. I would pick the Three Fingers Guy because he looks like a Pope. Just something about a Pope on a coin that screams old.
Great list Danny. After reading yours I would like to add an early Military Plate, posy or mourning ring and a colonial cache to mine too. Those are all possible with the sites we hunt. I hope the...
White Whales:
1. Confederate Button and/or Buckle - I spent 10 years digging Civil War sites and never found one.
2. Never dug a Trime, Three Cent Nickel, Flying Eagle Cent, or a Shield Nickel....
Nice finds. The square buckle looks like a possible hat buckle.
Very nice bottles C.D.!
Great coin spill!
