Great find, Tim! Is it a 5 cent or 10 cent piece?
That was a hunt for the ages! Were both of the halves in the same yard? I bet Alec was about to pass out from excitement! Two old halves plus a Carson City Seated Dime!
And hey, your 1892...
Very unexpected and impressive results, Dan! It looks like the date is 1831? Did you use any kind of aggregate when you tumbled it?
I don't even know what to say, Dave!!! :shocked04:
It's amazing how that beautiful 1800-year-old silver ring was under all of that iron rust. How lucky that you didn't just toss it into your...
I love that enameled pin! What a great find! :thumbsup02:
Dang! Two gorgeous silver coins! That 1923 SLQ is a thing of beauty! Rarely do we see those early ones in that kind of shape. Nice! :loveit:

Wow, you have been busy, Drew! It's hard to pick a favorite from this group because there are so many wonderful finds! How much detail is on the William III copper? Enough to identify it,...
Congrats on he CT copper, Dan! It's amazing what you guys in that part of the country can find on a "short hunt"! :clapping:
Nice hunt, guys! I'm glad you are able to get out almost every weekend. It's funny that you both had very similar finds. Dad got a Barber Dime though.
:congrats:
I'm not fixing it! :devilish:
From those photos I'd say you both had some great finds! There are some very interesting relics in the second photo. Rings, tokens, buckles, fobs, bullets, buttons and a nice old padlock. A little...
The Roosevelt and Fairbanks piece is awesome, Tim! I found several similar examples online, they all call it a watch fob.

Maybe it's a donkey shoe and somebody "Got medieval on their ass"?
It is a sharp button, Dave! It sure in is nice shape for being 230 years old. Your photography is excellent as well. Does the button still have a shank? Any back marks?
Congrats on the bucket...
Another day, another museum piece. As always, you did a wonderful job of cleaning and preserving it, Dave! It's amazing that the pin survived as well. Spectacular find!
:perfect10:
Decent finds, Tim! Does the trade token say anything on the other side?
Now that's a good way to end a hunt! Three silver coins over 200 years old! They are great looking coins, Dave! From the photos you can't tell how small they are. What a wonderful spill!

A silver dollar has been on my bucket list since I was a youngster. Congrats on finding your first! That had to be an awesome feeling! And the fact that it's a Morgan from the 1800s makes it even...
Look at the bright side, at least your photo isn't sideways!
I haven't found a V Nickel or a silver spoon for a long time so both would be welcome finds for me!
:congrats:
A thimble spill! That's a first! :shocked04:
That was a great hunt. The Indian Head and Wheat Cents are in nice shape. The 1930-S is an unusual find. Not a key date but they don't seem to...
So weird finding a clad quarter and an Indian Head in the same hole! We had a fun day of detecting together, Don! Let's do it again soon. There are a lot more old coins and relics out there...
What a spectacular relic, Dave! Was it a clump of rust when you found it? That Medieval iron sure does clean up nicely! Over 800 years old, wow! :shocked04:
:perfect10:
Four Indian Heads and three silvers is a very decent Saturday! One wonders why there are always pennies from the 1800s but rarely dimes.
The marble is a great bonus! I always love seeing them...
Awesome dime trifecta and wonderful 1872 Indian Head Cent! That is one of the dates I've yet to find.
I agree that it looks like a "filled die" error on the Indian, because otherwise it doesn't...
