Looks like you had a great summer, John. That 1820 is gorgeous.
Please try to remember that I have yet to find a crotal bell. If you find every one of them in Vermont, I'll NEVER get one! :detecting:

Final follow up:
AT Pro arrived on Friday, as promised.
Works like new (which it essentially is -- new board and new case). The new case included new connectors.
There were new mounting screws...
Amazing find, John, and a great piece of local history. :thumbsup01:
Sent the AT PRO in on Monday. I got a call today (Friday) saying they are replacing the board and the case. She could not explain to me why I needed a new case (mine looks brand new) other than her...
Wow. That 1853 is beautiful.
I'm guessing it's a decorative piece off of a carriage (found in an area where previous finds make me suspect carriages would park to attend burials at an adjoining cemetery).
Anyone?

Please post a shot after you clean it up.
That's an awesome find!
:shocked03:
I e-mailed Garrett and had a friendly response within 30 minutes.
She asked a few questions. I responded, and within an hour I had another reply suggesting that I send it in for service.
It is...
Thanks, guys.
I was hoping that interference was the answer (I had a new electronic car ignition/lock key fob in my pocket that puts out a continuous signal), but that wasn't it.
Turning down the...
I've never had a moment of trouble with my AT PRO.
Today, after detecting for a short while, it started to false when it wasn't being swung. First, it would show mostly "53" and a mid tone. Then, it...
Wow! :shocked03:
Another great day, John. Congrats.
We are finally starting to see grass over here. Won't be long now. :detecting:
That's a beautiful LC, John.
Did you work on it much, or did it come out of the ground that way?
Looks like you're starting this year where you left off last year. Nice finds.
Still over a foot of snow over here in the Northeast Kingdom. It's killing me!
Amazing year, John.
Now leave some for the rest of us, willYa?!
Wow. That cleaned up beautifully.
Only one question remains: Who was "M" ???
John - You've had an amazing season.
Congrats.
AT Pro - but I don't swing it as often as I'd like.
Nails. Square nails. Round nails. Horse-shoeing nails.
Surely I must be paying penance for some past life indiscretion -- and surely I must have paid back for my sins one-thousand times over!
Any day with a bell or a coin is a great day.
Congrats on another great site for you, John.
John -You are killing' it this year! Congrats.
If everyone who was in that field missed something that big, I bet there's other stuff still waiting to be found.
Another awesome group of finds, John.
Congrats on finding another untouched site.
Wow, John. You're already killing it, and it's only April!
Haven't seen the sun her in the NEK for 5 days. Half of my lawn is still covered in 4 - 6 inches. we get an inch or two of new snow every...
Hey John -
What a great site!
Could that be St. Christopher on the large medallion thing? He is the "patron saint of travelers" and is usually depicted with a staff and the Christ child on his...
