If I lived where you do, so close to such amazing sites I'd ........just wow! Speechless!:notworthy:
Even if it was "worth nothing" I'd treasure it. What an amazing find!! What our founders accomplished was truly unbelievable and should be remembered. I would frame that along with a favorite...
I wouldn't use the word grenade in your description when mailing home!!
How do you clean out the inside of the grenade? I mean it obviously never exploded. Wasn't their remnants of gun powder inside? Probably dumb question.
BTW, it's fascinating your discovery of...
I don't know why, but small gold rings I've dug were all nickel numbers. Larger rings with more weight and carrot have all been 12-30 or better on the E Trac, like a zinc penny.
So many ways to read that note. I'd be sure to buy her flowers and take her out for a special dinner!!
Merry Christmas!! And a happy new year!!:grouphug:
Can't even imagine the feeling digging such a beautiful piece of US history. Incredible coin. Glad you didn't rub it LOL!!! :clapping:
Truly a people who'd just fought off the greatest power on the planet! Proud of the heritage we all share! That is a great relic. :thumbsup02:

I've only found a few sites for trading posts, and almost every time it's followed by a "no you can't detect the site." It's also just by accident that I find out. Property owners bragging about...
For sometime now I have felt like I’ve been walking over coins because I never hear anything more than 5 inches deep. Maybe I need to give this some thought. Great review.
I’m just curious, how do you find old trade posts when there’s no longer a building there?
Don't think I stand a chance completing a state copper collection. Perhaps a complete set of Mercury dimes. Congrats!
Blessings all, on this Thanksgiving!:groovy: Don't eat too much turkey!
Back in those days after 8 kids your neighbors would be asking "so when are you going to have another?"
Buttons were distributed everywhere, not exactly evenly but were everywhere.
When you get stateside I'll bet it'll be difficult digging mercury dimes!!
Just not fair!

Not nearly as good as you all but I’m not complaining. Better than Don’s Merc lol! :hystericallaugh:
Thanks Del. Not there yet, but someday I may upgrade. :) Nice silver there.
I'm curious as to your opinion Del, what machine you prefer. My experience has only been with Whites, and now the E-Trac.
You need to be banned from this page. :hystericallaugh:
Dang. Where were they when I visited you? :lolsign: Anyhow nice job!!
