Rivers? I know nothing about this lol. Drew the year of the RR tags was last year although I have picked up a few more. I think this was the year of the IH cents.
Thanks Tony..........I'm glad to be back. I certainly look forward to being here more.
Thanks I'll..........I'm much happier getting a wider variety of items now then just a big pile of silvers. Hopefully 2015 will bring more of the same. I've been off to a good start so far.
2014 was my fifth year of detecting and my goal was to continue to get a nice variety of finds and not just chase silver. I was pretty happy with my year........I ended up with my first belt plate...

Thanks Don for your help I sent you a private message.
You should be able to turn the threshold up until you always hear the hum. Any break in the hum means you went over a metal that is discriminated out. Near a hole itself I run with a 6x8 SEF coil and...
Thanks everyone. I would have to say this has to rank up there in my top finds.
Nice job Dave. Congrats on #50.
Nice job guys. Sorry I couldn't get out there with you, I would have much rather been out than be at work.
Congrats Alan.........I knew that site would have more than the one copper. Sure there's got to be a few more in there as well. Still a lot of area to cover. Now if it would give up another Hingely...

Thanks George. You guys have been a huge help on this. I greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

The back is worn smooth unfortunately. Same with some of the edges. Ill see if I can get a little better pic and post it later. I think it's going to be a tough one to confirm. I'm so afraid...
Got out today for a little bit and pulled this copper with a deer on it, looks like it matches up to a Higley Copper. Lettering is worn smooth on the front all I can see is the deer and the ring...
Congrats again Alan. Incredible. So I guess I had a good choice of location for us to go to. Aren't you glad we didn't go to the cellar holes instead ha ha.
Welcome to the forum Alan. Glad you found it, there's some really knowledgable people here. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.
Nice job Drew. Congrats on another great hunt. Sorry I couldn't have joined you guys today. The work thing always gets in the way.
Great find Dan. That's a nice looking buckle!!!!
Thanks Todd. Glad you guys were able to come down and walk away with some keepers. I'm really glad we crossed the river further north and you weren't able to get a video of the plunge I took. The...
If I could only attach an airbag to the coil I could have used it to cross the river (then I wouldn't have fell in yet again) ............so I guess the coil covers a little bit of area.
I wish you could have joined us. Especially now with the rain you'll need to mow the lawn again tonight :(
