No. (Hi Vito!)
Both excellent finds, congrats! :clapping:
But are they at all useful? Have anyone ever found anything using them? Do they work?
I took that 2lb off and settled on a 1 lb weight. It seems just about right...I haven't tried it in the field yet. Good to know i'll need the strap.
Anyone know anything about OKM detectors? Years ago they tried to sell detectors that they claimed could show you a picture of what was under the ground...and it cost like $10,000. It didn't work....
Dan,
Diameter-
This particular William is 27mm (must have lost a mm over time), all my other ones are 28mm.
All my drapes and coronets are 28mm, as are the two in question.

Wow, that's close Dave...do you think the trapezoidal inside could make those examples a bit earlier than John's rectangular insides? I'm NO expert, or even slightly knowledgeable.
The other day I found a 1694-1702 William the 3rd copper coin. I also found a Draped Bust early American copper coin. Last week I found a Matron head. They all are supposedly made of pure...
It's just a suspender part, it looks weird in the pic.
Hey, I retire in 5 months!:yahoo:
You think I post too much now!?
Thanks, Fellas,
Jeff... I wouldn't know which year it is or how one could figure that out. I barely know which coin it is. :).
Not knowing much about it, I always guess these coins are from...
Wow, I'd like to find one of those types of cannon corps buttons...ever! :shocked04::envious:
Keep it up! :perfect10:
Such an amazing find!!!
Hey CD, I have to go here, https://resizeimage.net/
upload my pics, shrink them below 1MB (about 30% size of original),
Then upload them to this site.
Everyone else...
Hey everyone,
I'm not a fan of global warming but I'm happy to be digging in New England on Jan 18th.
We've already had a nor’eastah and other winter events, but the snow melted days...
Can't beat that! Your heart must have been pounding with each coin. We're still hunting here in NE as well! Keep it up, Jared!
WOW, DONNIE! Spectacular! If I dug one of those powder spouts I throw it out not knowing what it was
That button is a real winner. Congrats!!! Hopefully the weather holds. I remember in 2011...
Thanks, WD and Donnie!
Yep Donnie, as I mentioned I routinely use 5kHz. Sometimes it works better than multi at this particular site....but I also like to use it at hunted out parks where I have to...
Thanks, guys!
Roger, they don't come out with that kind of tone and sharpness around here...especially from a corn field.
Jared, this corn field was a ball field from the turn of the century...
Woods,Jeff. Things are starting to freeze in the parks now. :(
Hey everyone,
After work today I hit my most difficult site. It's a corn field where there are plenty of post civil war coins waiting for me...I find them every so often but it's tough sledding as...
Good eye, Tony!
Thanks! I was thinking 1831 too.
That button might be a whizzer? ...and jaw harps are so rare. The CONN part of CTs is always visible. Real old pewter button! Good day, Roger! How'd Frank do?
Hey everyone,
The weekend was hunt-able in the afternoons...so I was able get out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The ground was frozen in some areas of a park I was at but I could dig most targets. ...
I don't know where this site is, nor do I want to know, but have you heard about the Civil War cannon testing grounds in north west CT? They were producing the largest cannons the world had ever...
Congrats, Dave! That's going to cost you to mail it home
