    Nothing but buttons

Got out for a bit yesterday with OxShoeDrew. I didn't find any coins, but I did manage to find some really nice buttons. Nice big Tombac cloaker with design, 3 civil war buttons, a flat with some design work, a little button with writing on the top and finally just a flat tombac. All had shanks on them. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Thanks for looking HH

And what wonderful buttons they are!

Were the three infantry buttons close together? I wonder if they were off of the same garment.

Very cool that all of the buttons have the shanks on them still.

Great finds, nice pieces of history!

Tony, all the infantry buttons were somewhat close. Id say within 50 yards of each other.
