COLONIAL FIELD*COPPER & A HALLMARKED PIECE OF COLONIAL SILVER

Got our with Gary to a cellar hole.was pounded.I got one button the other site we located was so grown in it wasn't even huntable.
We then decided to go to a old field and that's where we had our best luck. A copper for him & a copper for me looks like a King George the III and this interesting hallmarked piece of etched silver.no idea at all what it could have been or be used for hope somebody (elbows Dan) can shed some light on this piece.it's definitely a colonial period hunk of silver. Somebody mentioned it may be a bar link off a old pocket watch chain

Dave, nice field hunting and no idea what that piece of silver could have gone to. Again some very nice photos with some nice finds.

Nice hunt Dave, You think maybe it was bent before? possibly went around a heel or something to hole the spurs. I don't know just a guess. Good luck finding out. And
