Welcome to the American Detectorist forum, Raccie! Glad you found us! I love Memphis, I have been down there to the Beale Street Music Festival many times. Great music and food! Lots of history down there too!

Have you found anything good with your E-Trac yet? Any special finds you'd like to share?

Good luck and happy hunting! thumbsup01

Best find so far has been a 1907 Barber dime and 1945 War Nickel. One never knows what is under-ground

    Welcome aboard.

    Ever ET in South Africa?
I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.

I've also walked with my feet 10 feet off of Beale. I did notice the lack of pizza places though . Welcome to the group and good luck with your finds.

Welcome aboard Raccie. It sounds like you have the right equipment and attitude. You made a big move from South Africa to Menphis, and that sounds like it could be a story in itself.

Actually moved from East Africa, Tanzania, to the USA. A culture shock, like moving to another planet.
Lived there for a number of years and enjoyed the wilds of Africa.
Never seen a MD at any beach in Southern and East Africa. There could be a ton of rings to be had and a jolly big stash of coins.
