    Shaped like a pocket watch looks like a lighter/

    Any ideas on what this is?

    Pretty sure that's a late 19th/early 20th century era trench lighter. You can find several very similar models by putting in 'trench lighter' in a Google search. Looks like yours may be missing the flint wheel, but it's a pretty safe bet that's what it is. Here's a guy with several of them like that:

    yep . thats a good call and an ever better find.. awesome find .. my best lighter find was a cigerette company lighter from the 50's.
