    Had the morning free...

...so I slept in and didn't hunt.

Just kidding, I haven't slept-in in 30yrs. I hunted this morning and found an 1848 braided and a thimble. The coin sounded like a largie then when I turned 90 degrees it sounded like constant iron. Second coin to do this at that site. Thanks, Drew

Large Cent and a thimble make for a very good hunt! That is a nice Large Cent!

congrats on the &quotraided hair and thimble Drew .
Thank you sir, If I only had hair to braid

Todd, you and Dave hunting? Hope you do well.

Al, I'd think you'd have a silver thimble, as you have everything else

I agree Bell-Two, date-able coppers instantly make the day.

Tana, That's as much as I'll clean it. I already threw it in the braided drawer lol

    Thanks all!

Nice ! Makes me want to go detecting tomorrow instead of painting walls and tiling a floor. A day off should be for the pursuit of hobbies.

Nice hit on the copper Drew. I agree, any copper that has a date on it is a good one.
