    Who here uses the DFX? What program do you run? Just wondering.

    i've been using the dfx for relic hunting for the last 7 years , my program is a customized one i've slowly developed and tweaked from the basic relic program.

    Lately I tend to use a 3kHz only program due to the ground's very low VDI at a lot of sites I hit. If the iron isn't too bad I also use Mixed Mode.
    Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
    Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
    Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
    Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank

    I developed a program several years ago for the Super12 coil on the DFX. It works great with the standard 950 as well. Here is a PDF document of the settings with full notes...
