    One Penny

The heat, rock hard ground and a misbehaving pinpointer all have conspired to keep me away from MD'ing as much as I would've liked for the past couple of months and when I did get out for a quick hunt the finds have pretty much sucked \:[ Got out for a bit yesterday and it was more of the same, I actually thought I was going to go home completely skunked, not even a clad penny but just as I was about ready to go home I got a faint signal and dug this beauty from about 8. If I was only going to bring home a single penny all day, this is not a bad one to find...

Thanks Tony, Yes I thought the same when I got it cleaned up and saw its condition. I found it at an old farm house where we keep my wifes horse, its kind of my default MD'ing location when I don't have a lot of time to swing , I'm out there at least 2-3 times a week cleaning the horse's stall . The house sits on a couple of acres and surprisingly I haven't until now made any really good finds there, an occasional newer IH, some Wheaties and a few Rosies.
