Hey guys have a couple tuff ones to ID

    Hello all,
Did a little hunting at my neighbors field today. The day went by pretty quiet, but did manage a couple of finds. But I can't seem to make out what they may be.The first item looks to be a coin of some type.Maybe a 1/2 reale? There is a few letters that can be seen in the photos. And the 2nd item appears to be pretty old,was very deep too.If anyone has any ideas please chime in!HH Tom[attachimg=1][attachimg=2][attachimg=3]

Tom the first is a spanish silver coin , if its about the size of a modern nickle its a 1 reale , if its about the diameter of a modern dime its a half reale . the noticeable N U M is on the pre bust type coins or pre 1770 they usually called these the pillar type reales , similar to this one .

Good call Del. What strikes me about the piece is the slit that is in the center. Looks like a strip of leather could pass through it. Perhaps it is decoration from a buckskin shirt or riding tackle?
