Mine is in a bit better condition and is one of my favorite finds. Where did you find your information on it. I would like to see the citation.

Wow Tony, what a great looking button! At first I thought you had the pic upside down but then I realized the hare and fowl are hanging from a tree (having already been shot).Originally Posted by Bell-Two link=topic=14565.msg152811#msg152811 date=1383357986

Good job on not letting the electrolysis kill the button lol I rarely use it since my finds around here are better off hiding some of the pits If you feel the need to tone the button, sulfur does a good job of toning the bright copper. Nice, unusual button.

yeah i debated on doing the button. the home owner really was wishing he could ...really...see it as the house had benn in the family since it was built. i found it in late may and everytime he saw me he would ask about that button. so i decided to try the electolysis as everything else i tried didnt do much good. now that i did clean it i was able to date it. he will be thrilled when i take it to him this coming week. i used a 3 volt phone charger, hoping it wouldnt fry it. after a minure i brushed it and gave it another miuye and got lucky and left it alone
