    2nd hunt of the year

So I was unsure if I should make one or two posts. So I went with one. Like the rest of us in the north were going crazy with the never ending winter. So today I headed out to a very small bay beach and was rewarded with a 14k gold ring. Boy was I excited. After 1 and a half hours I had covered the small area. So I headed to a meetinghouse a few miles away. I was rewarded with my first ever flying eagle cent .I need to clean it up to get a date. also picked up a button and a wheatie. I was there about an hour when I got a call there’s a tornado warning and the pouring rain came in. Not to bad for a few hours I’m ecstatic.

Now I'm jealous Gold during the dead of the winter Great job on finding some gold. That band is real thin, surprised it didn't split in the sand. And you get a Flying Eagle too? Go Josh!

Thanks George I think the band survived bc it was an bayside beach. Although the wind was a killer it was still 60 degrees i don't know how that happened lol

Hey, big congrats on the 14k . You all sure had your share of snow. I just moved down here last Oct from MO for that very reason, to leave the cold and snow behind. So good on ya for getting out NJJOSH, and happy hunting..

Tony that would be sweet, but it was at a meetinghouse down the road from the beach. Thanks for the congratulatory remarks
