    New Cibola on its way!

    Hi all,
Just wanted to express my excitement and say that I just ordered my first Tesoro. I'm getting a Cibola, and I'm stoked!
Any advice to a new Tesoro owner is most appreciated! Most of my previous experience has been with Garretts, or other VDI machines.

Congrats on your new machine. My advice is take it out and find good stuff Someone will tell you some real advice. I hear good things about them but like any machine practice will help the most. I hear they are good iron machines too.

Congrats on the new Tesoro and I'll be looking forward to see how you do with it. I've had my eyes on Tesoro products for quite some time now cause they'd make a fantastic detector for hunting in the woods. I say you sure can't beat their lifetime guarantee either.

Oh man! NOW I see what all the fuss is about the Tesoro heaters. I gotta admit, I was a little skeptical that these machines could be THAT much fun to use, but the hype is very correct.
Took my new Cibola out for its maiden voyage today, and it totally impressed me. These Tesoros hit coins like a wrecking ball man!
Anyway, heres my first haul with the Cibola. Not a ton, but just so much fun! What's weird is... I didn't miss having a TID screen at all.

Congrats on your new heater I bet it's light as a feather compared to other machines too. Hope the second hunt does well for you.

Thank you coinnut. You're right about the weight, its very light. My GTI 1500 is just too heavy. But, I love the build quality and power of this Cibola. The target separation and recovery speed are unbelievable.

It's gonna be a fun summer with this little heater

I would think it will outshine the 1500, certainly in target separation, but in depth also I'm thinking.
