    With a very heavy heart

    With a very heavy heart, I have to announce the passing of one of our members and a personal friend Ernest Koumpis (trout-hunter).Ernie passed away Saturday March 15, 2014 at home. Ernie's information can be viewed here:

    I have had the pleasure of knowing Ernie for a couple of years now and have detected with him a few times. He was a wonderful person and a good friend and he will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

    That is very sad news indeed.

    He was on the forum when I first joined and was always helpful and friendly.

    OH... thats terrible to hear George , Ernie was a real good guy and I know you and him clicked in your friendship because of all the similar hobbies and interests you two shared.
