Found some CW bullets last week

So last week I went back to what's been my go-to place for the last 14 years or so. It's pretty much dug-out, but I still try. Finding one bullet would've made me happy, but I actually found 4, and not only that, but they were all different: one Minie ball, one pistol ball, one bucky ball (not really a bullet but...), and one musket ball. The coolest thing was that the Minie ball was a star-base, meaning it was produced at the Washington Arsenal. Of the two hundred or so bullets I've found here, this was the first star-based one I've found. Very strange!

Goes to prove the common saying, " A site is never really hunted out". Nice finds for sure.

I've never found much for bullets and had very small interest in them because of that. But yours with the story of where it was cast is very interesting. Nice find
