    Past weekend hunt

Tim and I were able to escape parenthood for a few hours on Saturday. We headed to the 1700s farm I've been hitting since we knew we at least had permission to hunt anytime. We hit a lower field, then worked our way back through the main field to where another old home once stood. Pickings were slim. I managed an old lock, probably 50's, a Rosette, and a show buckle...

Tim had a couple nice scores...an unidentifiable copper, and a really nice horse buckle with a heart (probably mid1800s)

Well it is good to find something I hate it when I only get junk...which seems a lot lately

oh how i hate those iron rings they can sound just good enough to dig every time . keep your "show" buckle parts Rob because you can make complete ones from the parts , as time goes on you'll find just frames .

Ahhh parenthood........ Heck with that go detecting glad you could sneak out for a bit and get some fresh air. You got a mix of old and new items. Is that piece (bottom middle) flat on the other side?

Yep let's see if the back top part has any thing left of a post sticking out of it. Drawer pull is a good call Drew.
