Pounded sites *24th copper of the year

Todd had to work today so,went to a couple new sites with a guy i met from waterbury his name is Dave too.I figured they would be pounded and they were .all 3 sites were within a stones throw of each other.snuck out a few keepers on a 4th site.a shot idk what it is copper.maybe a KGII bust facing left.rang 68-72 VDI in the ground. a smashed thimble thats say "forget me not" around bottom.2 flat buttons a little tag that had letters on top and Glastonbury,Conn.and a few morel mushrooms and wild leeks.Dave had never really hunted a cellar hole and got his 1st flat button.pickins were slim but he had a blast

Good perseverance Dave. You seem to always be able to pull out some keepers at well pounded sites. I hope you know your mushroom I.D. well.

A shot copper is better than a no copper day. Gratz on your 24th. Did Dave enjoy a day in the life of a cellar dweller? I'm headed to Funks today with Tom to try and find another site in there. Let you know how we made out. I know its a day early but, Happy B- Day old man.
