    Wow

Ok im a little excited about my hunt this evening I first found a couple wheat pennies then I got a good hit at about 6" so I dug it of course lol pulled up the plug and in the hole looked to be another Wheatie but to my surprise it was a 1907 Indian I couldn't believe it I actually thought it said 1887 but the more I cleaned it the more i could see the 1907 but I recheck my hole with my pro pointer and got another signal and it was a 1903 Indian and I was flipping out but it kept getting better pulled a third Indian 1900 and finally a 1909 Wheatie I will say this was the best coin spill ive ever dug How do I clean these up im excited to lol thanks HH

Great little spill. Check that '09 wheat for an "S" mint mark. As for cleaning them, we have to see them to give advice. So my best advice is to do nothing for a while. But if you are really impatient clean them in soap and water and a toothpick (little circle motions) just removing the dirt. If you like what you see continue until both sides are clean. There is a certain excitement when the pinpointer signals more coins But then the crashing let down when it goes silent

Great spill you got there. The excitement level does get higher when you discover that there are friends in the hole. Congrats on those keepers. Sorry to see that the 1864 has that hole in it, looks to have been shot.

Congrats on the incredible coin spill! It's rare to find coins that old in a spill. That had to be really exciting!

The holed 1864 Indian Head is an unusual and interesting find also. It still counts, even with the hole.

I would agree with Coinnut's cleaning advice. That's how I clean my Indian Heads. It takes some time but the results are usually pretty good.

    Congrats on the neat finds!
