    Silvery August So Far

I've been getting back into the swing this month and have had some pretty good luck. I've figured out some new spots to hunt and they have been very good to me. Most notable are two halves, and matched pair of silver earrings, and a sterling thimble which has been on my list of most wanted finds for some time now. As lucky as I have been I will nevertheless have to give the dirt a break for a while as we are heading out this Saturday for our annual two week vacation at the beach. I can't wait to hit the sand!

    Happy hunting!

Very nice pile of silver, Matt, especially the two Walkers!

Quite interesting that you found a matching pair of silver earrings! Were they close together?

I really like the silver thimble too. I have never found one.

Congrats on your detecting success, and I hope you have a great vacation at the beach!

You don't dig two walkers in a month very often, or a matching pair of ear rings. A silver thimble has eluded me as well even though my hunting buddy has dug 4 or 5 of them in the last year. grrrr, lol Congrats

I don't know if I'm more impressed by the 2 walkers or the MATCHING set of earrings!
