2 Silvers, 2 Tokens, One of them Holed

Went out and hit a couple yards with driftwood and his son today. I scored 8 wheats, a couple silvers, and 2 pretty awesome tokens. The Ford is a commemorative 30 year anniversary token from 1933. The other token commemorates the opening of the Meridian Highway bridge in Yankton, South Dakota in 1924. Which is now just a pedestrian bridge.
Thanks for looking

Great looking Ford token. Just think when they made that token, they were showing off cars that we would love to get our hands on now  It was new to them, but a very long time ago to us. That is what I love about antique items like that...you can almost feel the time period when you hold it. Great finds!

Great finds. I have seen that Ford token before. Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I think they gave those out at the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago.

Some very nice coin finds there, but I really like the tokens! I suspect that Dave may be correct about the Ford token being given away at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. The name of that fair was "A Century of Progress" and I bet that Ford altered that phrase for the wording on their token.

Cool finds!
