    Coin Mystery Solved!

I sent an email to Mark Parker at wetreasures.com and he got back to me in 2 days with an ID! The coin is a well worn Fernando VII Spanish colonial 1/4 real copper from Santo Domingo c. 1810-1820.

Hmm. Hope the note for the S.D. helped the ID. Quite a different find for up in NY.

Nice. Great ID. I would have just labeled it a token of some sorts. I think that is the first one I have seen.
