    Return To The 1803 House!

    Return To The 1803 House

Today we went back to the 1803 House where I got the beautiful Two Cent Piece and the Lincoln Campaign medallion last week. Today was a good day with everybody getting some thing good; Bob used my E-Trac today on his second ever hunt. He got a 1947 Dog tag and his first ever Wheatie! Diane got a first for herself, a 1942-S War Nickel and she was pleased. She also got a no date Buffalo Nickel and the oldest coin of the day an 1881 Indian Head.

I found one and a half Crotal Bells, 4 Wheat Cents, and a Buffalo Nickel 193?

And the prize of the day for me is this beautiful 1918 Standing Liberty Quarter!

I was waiting for this post after I saw your video on YouTube last night!

A lot of nice finds for you and Diane, but that 1918-S Standing Liberty Quarter is truly a thing of beauty!

It's one of the nicest dug SLQs I've ever seen! Such a beautifully designed coin, always has been one of my favorites. Be sure to take a close look at that one to see if it's the 18 over 17 variety.

Congrats on the wonderful finds, Tony!

I looked and it is the standard date, but I like it just as she is Thanks Tony!

Maybe it's just cause I'm seeing that quarter on a small lap top screen But I would check real close to see if it is that overdate. Looks kind of funky to me If you haven't already look up pictures of the overdate, try and find some and then look at yours real close, cause that overdate can be a bit subtle sometimes. I hope it is cause it makes a big difference in price

Great job and that house is a real winner! Love the SLQ and amazing how well preserved it is. The crotal bells always make my day as well when I find them.
