    Frost On The Pumpkins

Well, Mother Nature gave her official notice this morning. We had our first frost of the season last night.

    Fall is my favorite season.

Will not be long and I will be mulching maple leaves for my compost pile. My vegetable plants love maple leaf mulch.

It has dipped into the 40s overnight a few times here but no frost yet. I love fall too, and for some reason I seem to have my best detecting success in the fall.

I just hope that winter doesn't come early this year.

Fall is a wonderful time to be out in the woods digging cellar holes!
