My WW1 related items on display

Some of my collection of postcards, photos, actual letters soldiers wrote home and other items are on display at a local museum. The exhibit, "Answering the Call To Serve: Camp Logan, Houston Texas 1917-1919" started on August 13th and runs until November 15,2014.
Some local people loaned detected found artifacts, flags, maps and other WW1 camp items.
Camp Logan was a WW1 training camp outside of Houston from early 1917 to early 1919, and trained over 30,000 soldiers for overseas combat.

Here is a video of some of the displays at the exhibit.

Awesome Robbie!!! I still need to check out the youtube vid...

Detecting helped me gain appreciation for military relics, once I started finding them

The patriotism and sacrifice with these items runs deep, the stories behind them. Yes an old hippie can be patriotic
