Tuesday Night Hunt ---Got me a Walker

Went out solo this evening after work. I got permission at a house less than a mile from home. The house was built in 1903.
I only had about 45 minutes before dark so I kind of cruised through it. About fifteen minutes after I started, I got a 12-46 47
about 5 inches. It sounded like clad, but I dug it any way. Pulled out my plug, one more scoop of dirt and there she was. Wow, what a surprise, a 1939-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Before I left, I also dug 3 wheats. The home owner invited me back tomorrow to finish the front yard and start the back. He also said that he would talk to his nieghbors for me. Got to love it

Congrats on the big piece of silver Digger Don! Fifteen minutes in and a WLH =

Good luck finishing the front yard and happy hunting in the back. I'm curious what will come up next.

I sure hope the neighbors are as accommodating as he is.

Thanks Tony, I appreciate it. Only problem is, I dug an 1895 Barber and now this Walker. All the others were dug by Digger Al.

WOOHOOO I got mine last week. You know, the only other half I've dug (not including a Kennedy) is an 1894 barber. What say you we go for a seated half next? Excellent job Don!
