    Hi from Lewes, De

I lived most of my life in the Harrisburg, Pa. area. I retired from Mack Trucks in Hagerstown, Md. Now I live near Rehobeth Beach in De. I have a DFX that I use on our beaches in the area. I'm trying to attemp to learn coin hunting, off the beaches, every place I dig is sand, just a big beach, lol. Still learning my dfx

    Welcome from Illinois!

Glad you joined the forum! Beach hunting is foreign to me, I'm mostly a park hunter. No sand in our parks here to speak of.

Best of luck with your DFX and we are looking forward to your participation on the forum!

Thanks for the welcome. I started out with a used Eagle Spectrum about 15 years ago that I bought off ebay, traded it in for my dfx about 7 years ago. Back in Pa did alot of dirt hunting, here it's all sand, even under the grass. Have to relearn hunting and my dfx settings.

Welcome from central Maryland. I`ve done a couple of local beaches around my area including Sandy point. I`ve got a friend that lets me use her home in Ocean Pines, which isn't that far from you. Maybe we could do some hunting some time. Good luck learning your dfx and hope you find some goodies.

I am sure with Coin Beach just down the road from you that some old crusty colonials will soon be found with your DFX....
Don Just drove by your area yesterday after spending a day at Assateaque Island and overnight in Ocean City, took coastal highway north just to see the area, since I last hunted Coin beach back in the 90s.

Welcome from PA. I hunt NJ beaches in the summer. A good sand scoop is a must.

Someday I'd like to try beach hunting. A friend of mine does it a lot, especially in winter when there is snow on the ground. I hope you enjoy it here and welcome!
