Last Saturday's Hunt = A Holed In One

Got out for a bit to a new site on Sat. Nabbed a few goodies. Looks like I got a KG II but not so sure as it's pretty smooth. I think I can see a bust facing to the left, what say you guys?

Also got a Silver plated spoon that says Clegg's Café on it, was able to find a place in the 1901 NC Directory but not sure if that's the same place as this.

Also got a pocket watch. Says Manufactured By The Ansonia Clock Co. Patented April 17th 1888 New York United States of America

On the way out I checked what was a house site that was there in 1953 and was torn down about 1988. Got some lead toys as well as a few Wheaties: 41, 44D, 48, 52 + 2 Dimes: 66 & 68D.

I hope that holed coin is a KGII. Great little truck and to bad that the cowboy lost his head. Some nice looking buttons. on all those keepers.

Thanks Guys! The Tootsie Toy is my 1st complete one. Years ago I found a mangled hood to a Porsche. I bet there are more goodies there.

That coin is so smooth that you can barely see a very slight detail.

Nice finds, even if you can't positively id the copper it is still a great find!

All good finds. I really enjoy finding old toys. I have a similar Tootsie car that still has the rubber wheels.
