    New To Forum

    Hello all - Just getting back into THing. Purchased an XP - havent tried it yet! Enjoy coin/relic hunting and saltwater beach hunting.

    Thanks for the warm welcomes. Been out of it for about 15 years. Started in the mid 80s with a Whites 1DB. Then Whites 5500, XLT, Fisher CZ6A (all of which I still have). Oldest coin 1832 Large Cent. Oldest silver 1852 Half Dime. Just amazed at what comes out of the ground sometimes. Great Hobby!

    Your story is similar to mine. I also did a lot of detecting in the mid 1980s and then was out of the hobby for about 11 years and got back into it in 2011.
