Scratched one off of my bucket list

    Hi everyone,
My hunting buddy driftwood and I hit a new yard yesterday. I dug my first Barber half and a couple early mercs. I've been having a great year having dug two silver dollars within a week, earlier this summer and a lot of other great finds. This find seems like the icing on top of the cake.
    Thanks for looking!

Barber halves are a beautiful coin, especially if it's at the bottom of a hole you just dug. Great find. Don't see many posted.

I've been detecting for more than 30 years and have only found 2 Barber Half Dollars. I know others detecting as long who have found none. They are rare to come out of the ground. The really odd thing, this year at different spots with different people I witnessed 4 Barber halves come out of the ground to 4 different people. I guess I'm good luck to those who detect with me. You got yourself a nice coin there and better than 3 out of the 4 I've seen. Way to go!
