    Nice find Giant.

I assume it is silver with all those maker marks. Any idea what the maker marks signify?

Yes it's sterling made from 1824-1825 in Edinburgh.

WOW, great find. Very early silver spoon and its a whole one. Very high on my wish list, I've found several silver spoon bowls but never a whole spoon. Did you find this in a park or some woods?

Congrats on your spoon and finding the date. I found this one back in June of this year without my detector next to our dumpster with sits on recycled rocks. I could never find its exact date though, but it`s still 68 grams of silver.

Great find giant. Nice to get out before that white stuff keeps us inside for awhile.
