    3030 finds my first Reale

    Hi guys,
I got out today for little while with one of my hunting buddy Tom we went out to an old church that is now nothing but a soy been field. I was there only three minutes before I found my first coin I couldn't believe my eyes when I pulled out in 1805 8 Reales( aka pieces of eight)..SWEET!!!
In the next 2 hours I pulled two large cents 1845 and 1847.. So I think I did pretty good for Ohio...
    My finds for the day...

    Close-up of the Reales..

    Thanks for looking guys!

Don , a 2 reale is a large sum of money back then to loose and was often called "two bits"
