    BONUS QUESTION: Guess the face value of the coins. The person who comes the closest will win a secret prize to be announced at the end of the contest!

    One guess per person for the primary contest, and one guess per person for the bonus question.

    I actually considered how/whether to include the 1 Real in the face value count. I was going to count it as ten cents.

    typically Spanish Silver was equal accordingly to our U.S. currency

    Half real = 6 1/4 cents
    1 real = 12 1/2 cents
    2 real = 25 cents
    4 real = 50 cents
    8 real = 1 Dollar
