These are some of my finds from 2014 to the 2015 Confederate I button the buckle remains a mystery from an early slave quarters 1700s to 1801 found the I button on same property along with the Vermont copper. The button is the best find to date due to the gilt and condition found out in no mans land on same property under a briar bush about 3 inches down, a little diluted lemon juice and q tip made her shine, with permission home site dates 1739 and patent house built in 1801 and had 2 slaves that lived over the springhouse where the buckle was found.vanzutphen
