    pictures off the 17e century hoard.

    My detecting buddy asked me if i make some pictures for him.

    The hoard is comming on the xp blog.

    Looks nice i think.

    Was there any research to the hoard or was it just luck at an old farm field? Seeing as its in the middle of a field there aren't many landscape marks close to the hoard. Nice find tho. Some seem deteriorated versus being cut, yet are from the same hole where others with a great amount of detail were pulled.

    Yes was near a house.
    Coins where spread out over 30 meters.
    Farmers plowing it over the field.
    But we found. The hoard hole.
    IIt's about 20 meters from the road and houses.
    Old road.

    That is an amazing hoard of some very old coins.

    Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
    Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
    Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
    Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank
