    New to the Forum

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum after hearing about it on another forum. I have been metal detecting for over 30 years and I have had a lot of different detectors, mostly high end stuff. I currently use Whites MXT detectors. I hunt most in old parks, schools, and homesites. I also really enjoy hunting curb strips and sidewalk or street tearouts. I frequent other forums and post regularly there.

    Welcome to American Detectorist!

We're glad you joined us! We have several successful MXT users here. It sounds like you hunt the same type of sites as me. Unfortunately we are buried under snow and freezing temperatures here in Illinois right now, with more snow expected on Sunday. I hope you're enjoying better weather there in Texas! I bet you have made some great finds after being in the hobby for 30 years!

We are looking forward to your participation on the forum!
