Exclamation First 2 Hunts of 2015 brings an Amazing!!!!

Needless to say I had a Incredible first two days to the 2015 year. Its hard to go over the whole story but my first hunt yielded a bunch of relics including a 1790-1830 pewter spoon fragment, half of a old suspender clip, a big brass doorknob frame, a 1870's Buckle, and some sort of tag dated 1957. Now my best hunt in my Metal Detecting Career So Far.... I will start off by saying that before I got to the property I had been rejected 5 times from people and when the owner finally said I could detect she also told me the place had before been detected by 6 people in total and when she said that i was a bit discouraged but i had no choice because I only had 4 hours of daylight left so I got out and started detecting i had a great time and let me just mention the Highlights of the day I found a Colonial Pewter Spoon Fragment, a beautiful 1897 Indian Head Penny and my First 2 Cent Piece!! Had a Amazing Day and I will be going back soon! Best of Luck and Happy Hunting to everyone!

you have a good old site there PT , that pewter spoon bowl has the popular late 1700's shell motif and is a great indication of whats possible at that site .

G0rgeous 2 center, absolutely beautiful. The WE in God We Trust is basically how that coin gets graded and yours looks like it was dropped right after minting. Some great relics there and waiting to see what else you can pull from that site.
