I use modified excals for water hunting, also have ML Sov GT, ETrac, Sand Shark and a Fisher 1235x I use for competition hunts.

I have 2 Excals, one has a WOT 15" coil the other has a SEF 12x15 Butterfly coil, both have Grey Ghost Amphibian head phones and the remote pinpoint mod mounted on the hand grip with thumb rocker switch and all mods are hardwired into the controls,no splices...

I hunt in all metal/ pp and switch to discrimination to check target. PP/all metal is deeper than desc, I get targets in pp that are unseen in discrimination... With the mods and 15" coils I get a lot of depth.....

One direction on thumb switch is desc and other is pp.
