The one and only for the day

It has been quite a while for me to post something that had some merit. Saturday I was able to get out for a short hunt, the second of this year, time restraints the reason and went to an old stomping ground. It was fun digging again and finding some really cool relics but the best find of the day was the only coin of the whole day, and what a coin it was. An 1848 LC in really nice condition. The back is really great the front not as good but still has a lot of detail. Thanks for looking and Safe and Happy hunting!!!!

Great looking copper! I was born and raised in Blue Point, just down the road from you. I'm itching to head back to the Island for a few hunts and lunch at Flo's.....

It's happened to me getting a matron as the one an only coin in a hunt. Nice. Above average for details of what gets dug.

Nice large cent. Sometimes the only coin find of the day is a high quality find. Good hunt despite the lack of coin finds

I found it at a park. The area of this park originally was a single family residence. Have had some great finds in this area before. Hope to go back soon only problem is a ton of iron . thanks

Very nice LC. An LC makes any hunt a successful one.
