Cool First silver for the year....

    But what a silver!!

Hi everybody! It's been a while for me to get something good up on the forums.

I can count on one hand how many times I've been out to hunt since January. The hunts I did were pretty crappy.

But the other day I hit a big park that's been pounded for years by everyone. I did a coil swap with a hunting buddy. I swapped my stock Teketics Omega coil for a NEL coil. He said I'd see a difference and I'd get a couple inches more in depth.

Lo and behold, I flipped over the plug and there she was. A 1901 Barber quarter!! I knew I had a silver when I saw the patina but was shocked to get a Barber. I hadn't found a Barber all last year so it was sure nice to have this one be my first for 2015.

Thanks for looking. Happy hunting everyone!

Ahhh, the sweet sight of silver. Congratulations on the Barber. Looks like the coil swap was a good thing. Thanks for sharing.

I've heard some good things about that NEL coil and on your Barber quarter.
