German Button - Can Anyone Get An ID?

I found this button on a street tearout, and most of all the old items found on this site date to the 1890-1900 period.

This button clearly has a German Eagle on it, and it also say "Berlin" among some other words on reverse. It measures 15/16" in diameter.

    What do you think?

Darren that button has all the "tell tail" signs of an old livery button , these were a type of family crest or coat of arms button . that would fit in perfectly with your time line .
