I think that's great that you guys are able to hunt for gold nuggets. Have you found any before or are you just starting out? I look forward to your posts from the exciting Rockies!

Thanks, Jeff. The summer up here has been wetter than usual, but I'll make the best of it. I always said if there wasn't a Colorado, I'd move to North Carolina.

Thanks, Smoke eater! I took delivery of my new GTI 2500 yesterday. Can't wait for the rain to stop. I see you have an Excal II. I have an old 'blue' 1000 that I dove with in Florida. Have you dove the II model?

Thanks Digger, I can tell great stories, but most are x-rated. My detecting stories might be a little tamer.

Hello Skamaniac! I'll do my best. I'll bet its almost as rainy here in the Platte River canyon as it is there!

Just starting out with that AT Gold, Drew. I've done a little conventional prospecting with mixed success. I'll keep y'all posted.

Hello GA1dad! I like the saying: "Pics or it didn't happen!". I carry a couple of cameras in the field.

Yep, Tony seems to have a silver magnet instead of a coil, but he hasn't volunteered to share it yet!
