Made an old man cry today

I was at a local lake/ beach today and helped an elderly man find his family heirloom men's wedding band today. It had been passed down for three generations, he lost it while playing with his grandkids. He didn't see me find it and when I told him to hold out his hand and I dropped his ring into his hand and he realized it was his he got all choked up and wept .
Wow, that made me feel all warm inside, what a feeling!

Whew , that's a relief . When I first read the title I thought maybe you punched him in his eye or something drastic like that .Good for you and God bless for a deed well done .

That is awesome! My wedding ring is also a family heirloom...it has a date of 1876 inscribed in it. I would be devastated if I lost it.
Detectors I use: Minelab Equinox 900 & Manticore
    Favorite finds I have made:
    1,000+ silver coins
92pcs of 1700's Trade Era Silver
