    Vacation finds

Last week my family and I went to our cottage in northern Michigan for our summer vacation. I have found many great items in the past but this year was a bit sparse but we still had a lot of fun. I managed one lone silver Rosie which was found in a gravel parking lot. Also got a very nice 1881 indian. My oldest boy found his oldest coin an 1893 indian...he was very excited about that.

As for the relics I found the side plate to an old pocket knife (I think anyways) that was in 3 pcs. My youngest boy found a shot musket ball and I found a smaller one. He also found a pretty neat old square nail.

The Navy button is a 2 pc with a steel back that is nearly all rusted up. Does anyone know how old it might be? I'm thinking early 1900s.

It's great that your son found the old IH penny. Some neat old finds too.
