    And it's a nice early Walker too! I love the photos of the coin. Nothing like the sight of big silver in the dirt!

    Isn't it wonderful that such coins are still out there waiting to be found?

    It takes some real self control to not knock a little dirt off to see what kind of half it is. At the point I took the dirt pics I still didn't know exactly what I had. Reaching for my camera instead of my water bottle, so I can clean the coin, takes discipline!

    Tony, You just summed up my whole philosophy when detecting. I think this not only in general, but even when hitting that yard that's been pounded for the umpteenth time.
