    more finds from the seminary

just thought i would do a little update on mine and Chris's exploits at the seminary we gained permissions for.
since i found the 1772 1 real the other day we have been twice more and detected for about 2 hours and found:
    pocket spill : 2 Indians 1902,1903, barber dime 1903.
    big sterling silver cross
    silver cuff link
    6 more Indian heads
    4 wheat's
    musket ball
    1 Roosevelt dime 1953
    part of a pocket watch
    9 merry widow condom containers
and last night a 1817 large cent
bringing the total so far to:
    15 Indians
1 Spanish real with odd counter stamp
    11 wheat's
    2 silver crosses
2 large cents , one made into a cog with counter stamp CH. BROWN
    1 silver cuff link
    2 silver Washington quarters
    14 merry widow condom containers
8 one piece buttons , 4 with gold guilt still on.
all this in an area of 80ft by 30ft and having spent no more than 12 hours total ......at this point im gona go out on a limb and say this place has never been hit...lol.
i wonder what we will find when we start to explore the 100 acres we have permission for ?.

What a score for 12 hours! Good luck on the 100 acres! You might need a wheelbarrow for the merry widow containers though.

Congrats on those great finds! Of course you will find the most vice related items in the places they are supposed to be suppressed the most-it's human nature to be a rebel.

Reading about the merry widows tins I found they are very collectible and can fetch $40-60! Guess that soil may not be so virginal after all!

Congrats Lee on the awesome spot and finds! With 100 more acres to hunt I'd guess you're gonna need to do some more research into what other spots folks gathered there. Likely some other awesome plots to hunt, but also lots of empty space as well. Would love to see a shot of all your finds from that spot...when you're done of course! That may be some time though!
