    Off to Boot Camp!

Minelab FBS that is. I'm heading to northern Indian on Sunday for Andy Sabisch's Minelab FBS boot camp. The day consist of 1/2 day class room and a 1/2 day in the field, mainly covering the tips and tricks for the CTX and Etrac. I know I have 3 years and several hundred hours on my CTX but you can always learn something new. This was my Birthday present from the wife and kids. How did they know I wanted to do this, LOL. I will post a full report next week.

Sounds fun, maybe I can get that for a gift from my wife. Can't wait to hear what the most interesting thing you learned was.

Was great to meet you at the bootcamp Fire Fighter 43, and congrats again on the big win for finding the most tokens! I think the best find that you made during the second half of our day was the 1847 Seated Dime, that had been made into a love token! The several hundred hours on the CTX, in conjunction with Andys bootcamp, certainly paid off (Minelab Backpack & 1847 Seated Dime!!). Well done sir!!

It was a pleasure meeting you Paulie and thank you for the kind words. I had a good token hunt and got lucky with only 10 minutes left in the natural hunt by finding the seated love token. It does not have a date, I think Andy mentioned it could be as old as 1847 so that might be where you heard the date.
